Heavy goods vehicles are restricted from the city through the day with movement permitted late at night. Gomti Nagar's wide planned roads take trailers without difficulty, which is where most modern venues sit. Old Lucknow around Chowk, Aminabad and Nakhas is handcart territory. The Agra-Lucknow and Purvanchal expressways now put Delhi within seven to eight hours, which has materially changed what specification can be delivered here.
